I grew up in Minneapolis, where my passion for design and learning was nurtured. I attended the Perpich Center for Arts Education, where I first learned graphic design, animation, and programming. This foundation in various creative disciplines set the stage for my future endeavors.
My journey continued at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where I studied interactive and graphic design. I then ventured into the professional world, working for big agencies and in the financial, cosmetic, entertainment, and real estate industries.
I furthered my education at Metropolitan State University, earning both a BS and an MS in Technical Communication with a focus on Instructional Design and Technology. While there, I created an app called mLighten, which teaches how to optimize learning for mobile devices.
After graduating, I worked as a learning experience designer for enterprise-wide initiatives at two multinationals and taught learning experience design as an adjunct instructor at Metropolitan State University.
Several years later, I started my own consulting business. Since then, my work has been recognized with two Brandon Hall awards and I have achieved incredible results for numerous for profit, non-profit, and public organizations.
Throughout my career, my passion for learning and design has been the driving force behind my success. I am dedicated to creating innovative and effective experiences that empower people and organizations to reach their full potential.
